The Helyar Arms dates back to 1468, and is full of period charm and character.  The beamed bar area, with its wealth of old furniture, horse brasses, copper pots, pictures and jugs, is warmed by a log fire in cooler months and is the perfect place to meet for a pint, a chat or a bar snack. 

     The old Apple Loft, adjoining the bar, seats up to forty people for lunch or dinner, and is ideal for private parties, with up to 24 around one big central table. 

     Six en suite bedrooms, including three family rooms, two double rooms and a single, provide the ideal ‘home away from home’.  

     Other facilities include attractive gardens for al fresco dining in warmer months, a traditional skittle alley and ample parking.
